Why switch

CAD that stays yours

A real parametric workflow, without the cloud lock-in or the subscription.

Works offline*

Every modeling tool runs on your computer, and no outage stops your work.

Your files, on your disk

A project is one .nko file in a folder you pick. Every tier opens and exports every file, forever.

Buy once, own it

A perpetual license with a year of updates. When updates end, the version you have keeps working.

Native on all three

Windows, macOS, and Linux builds ship on day one, from the same code.

The modeling tools are free

Shell, rib, sweep, loft, patterns, and mates stay free after the trial, with no cap on parts or projects.

Made for the print

Resin and FDM supports in the project, 3MF and STL for the slicer, DXF and SVG for the laser.

* Works offline between license checks. A license checks in with nekocad.com every 30 days, and the trial every 7 days, when the computer is online.

Supports

Change a fillet. Keep your supports.

You know how it goes: tweak the part, export it again, and support the whole thing again in the slicer. Here the supports live in the project, so when you change the part, each support moves to the new surface. Resin or FDM, auto or painted, then off to your slicer.

From sketch to part

The whole pipeline, in one app

  1. 1

    Sketch

Draw on a plane, lock it with relations and dimensions, and see when it is fully defined.

  2. 2

    Solid

Extrude, revolve, fillet, and shell. Roll the history back, change one number, rebuild.

  3. 3

    Assembly

Mate the parts, drag what is still free, and read what each mate holds.

  4. 4

    Drawing

Put the part on a sheet with views, sections, and dimensions. PDF and DXF for the shop.

  5. 5

    Print it

Orient it, support it, and send it to the slicer as 3MF, or flatten it for the laser.
